Boobsicles

Yes it sounds like what it means. Boobsicles were named after my Mother-In-Law commented on the breastmilk ice cubes I gave Z to suck on while he was teething. I used a First Years mesh bag teether. I know they can be found here in Shanghai at Toy’s R Us or at any store that sells first year items. They are used to put soft food for a baby to suck on, such as a banana.
I however, thought it would be great to freeze breastmilk into ice cubes for my earlier teether. Since Z’s Mei Mei looks like she will be an early teether too, she will being getting these made for her.
Get ice cube trays, clean them throughly
Pump breastmilk and pour into ice cube trays
Cover with foil or freezer plastic wrap several times to avoid freezer burn
Pop out and put into two plastic or one freezer bag and store in freezer.
Pop one into mess bag as needed for baby.
I have found that giving Z a boobsicle prior to nursing while teething helps decrease the chances of getting bit and give him relief from the discomfort of teething. Also, a great treat for the baby! No need to be worried about what is in the boobsicle since it is organic and homegrown just for you little one by you!
Enjoy!
